February 18, 2019 The PEARL Foundation, Inc., will offer several academic scholarships to advance the education of African American females who are graduating seniors of Cobb County or Marietta City high schools for the upcoming academic year.There are TWO scholarship categories and multiple awards will be given, BUT an applicant is only eligible to receive one scholarship award, to be determined by the Scholarship Committee. February 22, 2019 by 5:00pm MARC Scholarship The Metro Atlanta Relocation Council (MARC) is a non-profit organization that addresses the diverse needs of relocating employees and their families. March 1, 2019 University of North Georgia 4 year scholarship for students who commission as an officer in the Georgia Army National Guard after graduating with a bachelor’s degree. The scholarship pays for your room, meals, tuition, books, uniforms, and fees. You also receive National Guard monthly drill pay, monthly GI Bill & kicker pay, Army basic and advanced training pay, and Army ROTC contract pay. March 8, 2019 Krimson Community Foundation, Inc. presents scholarship awards to deserving graduating seniors to assist in covering some portion of their college expenses. These scholarship awards target African-American males in the North Fulton, Cobb, and Cherokee counties. To be eligible, applicants must be a United States citizen, African-American male, a high school senior with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better (based on a 4.0 grade scale), and a minimum SAT score of 1100 or an ACT score of 20. June 30, 2019 Recovery Village Health Care Scholarship The Recovery Village is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students pursuing a medical-related course of study.To enter to win a $1,000 scholarship, simply submit a short essay (no more than 500 words) describing why you are passionate about substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Essays can be in the form of a personal narrative with a medical perspective or focus specifically on clinical experience. Do you have a compelling recovery story?
